I *heart* Valentine's Day
I love Valentine's day and get very excited when all the stores start stocking the shelves with pink and red goodies. Something about the pink and red combo that makes my little heart go pitter patter, oh and all the yummy chocolate. :)
So I thought it would be fun to have a RAK and I want to know what you love about Valentine's Day and what you love about Maya Road.
So do you want to know what I love about Maya Road? I love the company and the people behind it, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the products too. But it's what's behind the company that means so much more to me. Caroline and Deb are two amazing people. They are so talented ,caring, and funny. I've been so fortunate to work with them and get to know them and their families. I'm so blessed to have all of them in my life.

I also agree , it is the people behind the company that make it great!! Maya Roads is one of the best companies I get to deal with. I always love how much fun comes from a simple piece of chipboard.
Valentines day is for love, I never knew a true valentine till I had my son Josh. The love of a mother and her son is one of the purest, unbelievable loves you will ever experience.
I have to say Im not fortunate enough to know all the gang at Maya road personally...but just from reading the blogs you get a feeling that theres passion about what they do...and I love that..the passion is there in the products, and the beautiful creations from their design team...and passion is what its all about, isnt it...??..which leads me to Valentines day..I love that for one day, people put aside their facades and go on silly about the person they are passionate about...
I love that Maya Road leads the field when it comes to chipboard. I love chipboard.
I love Valentine's Day because it's my dh's birthday and the day before our wedding anniversary.
We really don't celebrate Valentimes day in our household, my DH tends to think it is an "american" holiday (we are from Australia). I love the concept though...

What I love about Maya Road is the chipboard hands down and of course the GENEROUS nature of the people behind the name.
As far as valentines day goes we don't really do anything special to celebrate it and it does seem very commercial these days but I do like that there is a day dedicated to taking the time to let those who are loved by us know this when it is something we might not ordinarily do.

Valentine's day is not just for lovers. Since I lost my husband, I concentrate my love on family and friends. It's a great time to really show them how much you care.
When I first saw Maya Road products, I was blown away. I was first attracted to the charms, and the darling boxes they come in. Then I found the chipboard! The chipboard is so innovative and unique - which everyone else has tried to copy. All of the books are great, too. I have so much fun altering you chipboard books.
I REALLY DO LOVE Valentine's day. After 34 years...he IS STILL my sweetie.
I LOVE MAYA ROAD products. Love their unique presentation and the quality is wonderful. I'm PATIENTLY (not!!) waiting for the arrow chipboard book & their new stamps & ribbons to arrive in the stores. Any clue when??????????

What I love about Maya Road is the chipboard. I know others have said that, but I have my own reasons. I havent used the chipboard books as books, They are VERY versitile, and I love doing everything and anything with them. And I dont know the MR "team" except I have talked to you a few times via email, but this company and the people are pretty awesome :)

Valentines Day is pretty much a dud around here. My parents were married on Valentines Day (so I celebrate that) but my mom passed in 1990 (I was 4yrs old), so it's pretty hard on my father and on me. My husband and I make home made cards for each other (Jessica, you saw the one I made for him). But because its just a "halmark holiday", he doesnt like to "celebrate it". But I love my parents.
What I love about MR? The talent and generosity of C & D - all those amazing products....
What I love about VD? all the romantic things that happen
I love the MR product and I love that MR keep up and often set, the trends and bring out so many gorgeous new things (my budget doesn't though! LOL!!) I also love what the DT come up with...inspiring :)
For Valentines day here in Aust. I make my hubby a card and bake him something that is his favourite :) We also try to spend some time together truely appreciating each other and what we have together.
What I love about Maya Road is all the creative procucts (I love chipboard)and all the fun stuff that you can create with them!
I love Valentines day just beacause is a day to celebrate the most important thing in the world: LOVE. I wish everyday we cuold celebrate Valentines day!

Chocolate...that's why I love Valentine's Day!!! Seriously though, it is another day that I can celebrate the love between me and my husband!!!
I am practically a collector of Maya Road stuff! All your albums, especially the shapes, are terrific for gift giving. Your packaging is terrific (and incredibly practical for reusing!).
I love Valentine's Day--it's just another reason to give things to all the people I care about!

what I love about Maya Road....well all their products..it's like Valentines Day chocolate, so much to pick from, and you can't just pick one :)
Needless to say I stalk a couple of online sites to get my hands on their product.
I must admit that Valentines Day isn't high on my list of holidays to celebrate. I think we should be giving and sharing love EVERYDAY! But, a tradition that my son and I had was a spaghetti dinner on V-day. We'd eat in front of the TV, spaghetti, salad and garlic bread with something extra special for dessert. And that tradition, is why I love V-day.
As for MR - what's not to love?! Seriously though, it's their down to earth, hands on, family approach to their business. Their products are incredible and their heads still fit through the door! : )
maya Road, well I like the chip,ribbons and the tin boxes used for packaging, and from reading the blog here see it is a family company with lovely family support and values.
valentines day, well Is a great time to show your loved one how much we appreciate them, shouldn't be just once a year though....

What I love about Maya Road is the innovative products they keep coming out with. That printed twill tape is so pretty as are those little velvet flowers. I also love all the new chipboard shapes.
Valentine's Day - I love it for the chocolate - what other reason is there to have VDay other than the good excuse to eat chocolate!:)

What I love about Valentin's Day...? I love the smell of sweet candies and chocolates - Oh! Don't forget the chocolates. And they have to be really good ones - ones you don't eat every day.
What I love about Maya Road...? I love the QUALITY of their products. How the chipboard is thick and sturdy... how the ribbon is pretty on BOTH sides... how the colors are unique. But the quality speaks for itself. I almost hesitate to glue any of my projects down onto paper. These products are meant to be savored!
I have to agree with some of the others and say that one of the best thing about Valentine's day is chocolate. Lots of chocolate. What I love about Maya Road is the way this company keeps coming up with new and unique products. I just can't wait to see the recently released products in person!
I love Valentine's Day because it seems like for at least just one day of the year, the air is filled with love and sappiness - just the way I like it! I am a hopeless sentimental sap, so the holiday is my favorite!
I love the innovative products that Maya Road always comes out with. The designs are always fresh and unique; the design team is always inspiring in what they create!
Anything to do with chipboard- Maya Road has the best selection. And I LOVE the new acrylic stamps!!

I LOVE MAYA ROAD it helps me to SHARE the LOVE, JOY and memories of SCRAPBOOKING. Since July I have completed 3 yes 3 MAYA Road 8X8 chipboard albums that included your other chipboard and ribbon emblishments. One for Auntie about her 1st trip to KAUAI, one for my hubby and our family reunion trip to New Jersey and the third one was for my son's girlfriend to add her pictures from their trip to Nigara Falls (what could be more romantic)they LOVED ther albums. Aunt Jeanne in New Jersey also got a completed 5X7 album of the family reunion (this was before the 8X8 binder books were in the store)! Your company shared the love with your great ideas that you brough to market and I had the pleasure of sharing your love by completing the MAYA ROAD albums for the ones I love... Do you feel the love? Thanks for sharing

I love this particular VDay because it's the first one after my son's born, so there's lots of love going around~!
I love Maya Road because they have such great chipboard products and they try so much to make it cost effective for the consumer.
Well, what I love about V Day is that it is one of the few days of the year when my family makes me feel special and DH really takes the time to let me know how much he cares. It's hard for men, and it seems like VDay gives permission to let their real feelings out. It's also a day I can much over my 17yo DS without him getting all weird on me.
What I love about MR is that you are really on the cutting edge of innovative products, especially chip board and the packaging of that product. It seems like everything I see that it MR, I think "now why didn't I think of that?" It's so "right there' but not, if you KWIM.
OK, enough!
I love valentines day because it gives me a chance to do something a little extra special for my family. Just the extra I LOVE YOU, can never hurt anyone.
I love Maya road because all the products are wonderful and I honestly can say I LOVE THEM ALL. It is like Valentines day everyday when I get to play with your products.

Valentine's Day...I like the idea behind it! I agree too, it's a day not only for "lovers", but families too. Making Valentine's and giving chocolates then seeing their reaction!
